Business Support Assistant

Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire

Based at Warwick

Hours: 37 hours a week

Salary: Grade C – £21,135 – £23,406

We are looking for a skilled administrator to join our office.  Whether an experienced Business Support Assistant or an enthusiastic career starter with an interest in policing and crime this will be an interesting and varied job, with opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference in a small office.

You will be part of a small team providing the first line of contact to members of the public and partners and other stakeholders who contact our office. Your daily duties will include receiving and replying to correspondence, setting up and minuting meetings, supporting governance activities, and carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office – including receiving visitors, paying invoices, preparing papers, and supporting colleagues in their work.

You need to have an enthusiastic and positive approach, excellent written skills and great customer service skills. An interest in policing or the work of the Police and Crime Commissioner is also a must.

Although we are happy to talk flexible working, this role is key to our organisation and will be predominantly based in our Warwick Office.  There may be occasional travel across the county.  We are committed to equality and welcome applications from all.  In the event that more than one applicant is suitable, we will hold a reserve list for future opportunities when they arise.
