Q1. Can you please tell me if the police estate has been surveyed to see whether it’s buildings contain Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)?

A – I can confirm that the Police estate has been surveyed for the presence of RAAC.

Q2. If so, when the surveys took place?

A – Initial surveys were conducted in October 2020, and a further surveys were undertaken between February and May 2024.

Q3. How many buildings were identified as containing the material?

A – None of the Police estate was identified as containing RAAC.

Q4. What, if any, action has been taken because of the findings?

A – No action is required as the estate was found to be clear of RAAC.

Q5. How much money has been spent on such action to date?

A – None – no action required.

Q6. What is the total estimated future cost of action to deal with RAAC?

A – There are no future estimated costs as no RACC was identified.
