Projects tackling domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual offences and programmes providing positive diversionary activities for young people are among the county initiatives being given a £2.3 million boost by Warwickshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Seccombe.
Awarding his annual Commissioner’s Grants Scheme for 2018-19, Mr Seccombe said that he was delighted to be able to support a wide range of projects which help to ensure that victims are supported, crime can be reduced and perpetrators are discouraged from repeat offending.
A special launch event was held at Kenilworth Wardens Sports Centre on 20 June to award all of the grants recipients.
