In view of the Strategic Alliance between the two forces, Warwickshire and West Mercia have a Joint Audit Committee across police force areas, which  considers internal and external audit reports of both of the Police and Crime Commissioners and the Chief Constables.  The committee, which meets 3- 4 times a year, comprises 6 independent members.
