Personal Assistant

Based at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire (currently 3 Northgate Street, Warwick)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: Grade D – £23,817 to £26,016 per annum


Are you very well organised? Public Service minded?  Looking for an interesting and varied job?

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to join our team.  Providing support to the Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Executive you will work with in a small, busy team, carrying out a variety of roles and tasks to enable smooth running of the principals’ schedules.

The work will be interesting and wide ranging, and you will be able to demonstrate your skills in working with others at all level of the organisation, communicating effectively and efficiently.  Your organisational skills will be front and centre as you support others to prioritise effectively and achieve their priorities, and your attention to detail and accuracy with the written word will ensure clarity of message. You will be able to prioritise workloads in a busy environment, often working to tight deadlines.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of all aspects of personal assistant work, including arranging and supporting meetings, note-taking, preparing and editing documents and presentations and complex diary and e-mail management.

It is an exciting time to join our office, as the role of the Police and Crime Commissioner is considered nationally, and we will ensure you are able to access training and development to enable your success in role.
