The Commissioner has a statutory responsibility under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act to produce an Annual Report to enable the public to hold the Commissioner to account.
The annual report provides a strategic overview of the activity undertaken in support of the Police and Crime Plan during the year. As a minimum the Annual Report:
- Describes how the Commissioner has carried out his legal duties.
- Sets out what the Commissioner has achieved in the past 12 months and since taking office.
- Reports on the progress that has been made in meeting the objectives set out in the Police and Crime Plan.
The Commissioner’s Annual Report was presented to Warwickshire’s Police and Crime Panel in June 2024. The Chair of the Panel wrote to the Commissioner in July 2024, noting the contents of the report.
